Dr. Gino Pecoraro
Dr. Pecoraro is president of the AMA queensland and also the Obstetrics & Gynaecology spokesperson for the AMA. He is a Senior clinical lecturer at the University of QLD and Assistant Professor at Bond university. He works as , senior visiting obstetrician at Mater Mothers' and Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospitals where he is actively involved in umedical training.
Dr. Pecoraro delivers (Obstetrics) at Mater Mothers' and Wesley maternity hospitals, has gynaecology operating at Mater Private Hospital and is also accredited at St Andrew's and Brisbane Private hospitals.
He is an award winning medical journalist and contributes to a number of women's magazines including New Idea and Woman's day. He was a co-host of the nationally televised "Your Health" series on the community 31 network and was for a number of years the regular "Morning Medico" on Radio 612 ABC in Brisbane and still provides regular pieces for them.
Dr. Pecoraro delivers lectures to interested GPs and women in the community, with many sessions televised to rural women's groups via the "Women's Health Queensland Wide" network.
When not practising medicine or working in medical journalism, Dr. Pecoraro likes to spend time with his wife and their four young children.
